I find inspiration, passion and peace through painting with acrylics. Extraordinary textures and colors blend to form lyrical one of a kind paintings.

While painting, it is my intention to always surrender to what wants to arrive on the canvas. I believe we all have a creative spark inside us and the more we say yes to it the more we are able to connect to it's magic.

Sherwood Boxes
Decorative Boxes Hand Crafted by John Tegeler
I retired a few years ago and upon rediscovering an old Craftsman radial arm saw in the corner of my garage decided to start working with wood again.
My tools and my shop are located in my basement where I enjoy making small decorative boxes out of a wide variety of woods.
I make a wide range of small decorative boxes. I particularly enjoy making wooden jigsaw puzzle boxes. I employ many and varied techniques in the construction of my boxes. In addition to woodworking, I am an active member of the Kansas City Woodworkers Guild and participate in many of the Guild’s Activities.

The most frequent subject of my art is nature. I grew up on a farm and consequently my formative years were in the midst of nature . . . from insects to animals to plants. I am ever attracted to the beauty and wonder of nature.
There are three components to my Au Naturel art show: nature photographs, au naturel photographs and life drawings. The common thread being nature and a natural state (as in nude). I am part of nature and nature is part of me.

My new abstractions address our wondrous and mysterious cosmos. Illusionary discoveries explore future possibilities as we move beyond Earth. The viewer is impacted by a combination of powerful colors and intriguing details.

My work is about the small parts of life that make up the whole.
I collect moments of our common experiences, and record visual fragments
putting them in a format in which they come together to form ideas and concepts.
I delight in the visual expression of these poetic moments of life.
My work is a mosaic of color and form.
These tessellations are my way of sharing stories.

An ex-nun, Conry takes an unflinching look at psychological issues wrought by change, alienation, religion, and illness. Among her 30 works will be selections from her Goddess of Chemotherapy Series, a cancer survivalists guide to transformation. People Photography is about storytelling. To do it well, one must be present and connected to the experience. The images themselves tell a story that already exists.
